Jumping rope is one of the oldest exercises, and science has shown it’s still relevant and beneficial for the following reasons:

  1.  Burn Fat Fast:  You can burn up to 1300 calories per hour!  Ten minutes of jumping rope is like running an 8-minute mile!!
  2.  Get Smarter:  Jumping rope trains both the left and right hemispheres of your brain, therefore increasing spatial awareness, memory, alertness, and reading skills!
  3.  Make Your Heart Strong:  Increase your cardiovascular capacity, or aerobic performance, while reducing the impact on the joints!  If done correctly, jumping rope is easier on the joints than jogging and running!
  4.  Overcome Challenges:  Jump rope develops your physical and mental skills continuously.  Set a number if singles, or double unders, and have fun reaching your goal!
